Satcom antennas require a horizontal mounting surface to function correctly.  Finding this on any powerboat is often difficult.  This satcom wedge, eradicates this problem by providing a level mounting surface on slopes from 0° to 12°.

NavPod Protects Your Electronics In Harsh Conditions

Un-Cut NavPods are for you to choose your own layout or for mounting electronics that NavPod doesn't provide a Pre-Cut for. The face of the NavPod can easily be cut with a "Rotozip". It's a small handheld router style cutter that shreds the material while cutting. This eliminates any melting of the plastic material. It is also important to note that when selecting a possible Un-cut NavPod, the depth measurement stated in the chart is overall outside measurement. Actual internal clearance can be reduced by curvature from the design or molded indents for the mounting system. This can reduce the overall and needs to be considered when making a determination of actual available depth clearance.

Euro-Style Rocker Switch Control

This control is ergonomically designed, water resistant and provides a positive "click" when the trim tabs are engaged. Its lockout feature prevents user from pressing down on opposite directions at the same time. The control is easy to install, fitting into any existing Bennett 2 1/2-inch Rocker Switch hole.

12" x 16" Sport Tab System

Every trim tab is sheared and bent, not welded. Welding alters the properties of stainless steel which invites corrosion. Bennett actuators feature through-hull hydraulics. Plus, every Hydraulic Power Unit is tested by both person and computer to insure this reliable unit deflects the trim tabs, holds firmly during use, and retracts smoothly.

The solenoid valves lock tightly to secure the tabs in place. Strength to lower and hold even the largest tabs in place. Euro-Style Rocker Switch Control

This control is ergonomically designed, water resistant and provides a positive "click" when the trim tabs are engaged. Its lockout feature prevents user from pressing down on opposite directions at the same time. The control is easy to install, fitting into any existing Bennett 2 1/2-inch Rocker Switch hole.

Bridge control comes with a 20' wire

Features:

Wiring

• Color-coded wiring in 25' to 40' lengths with quick connects fittings, meets federal standards for heat, pull and insulation, making installation easy.

Solenoids

• They are custom designed for Insta-Trim Boat Leveler Co., epoxy sealed and humidity resistant, thereby preventing shorting out. The solenoids lock the tabs in any position, eliminating driftback. Barb type hose fittings provide tight, secure connections.

Motor

• A powerhouse with coated wirings and a thermal overload that resists temperature and amperage build-up. 1 3/4" stack windings and top mounting eliminated oil leakage. The motor is mounted with stainless steel nuts and bolts, and is easily disassembled.

Brackets

• Swivel type brackets allow cylinders to be mounted an adjusted to any angle. Knockout pins act as shear pins it tab strikes an object.

Pump

• Designed and engineered exclusively by Instatrim. The built-in bypass is factory set at 400 P.S.I. tolerance held to .00025. Amperage doesn't exceed 16 because the unit circulates oil, rather than stalling out or trying to pump additional pressure.

Motor Cover

• 4 1/2" D x 6" W x 11"H, high impact ABS plastic cover with a built-in oil reservoir mounts easily with two screws. The filler is located in front. Our cover protects the motor from occasional wash down.

Cylinders

• Impact resistant, fiberglass reinforced nylon cylinders eliminates expansion and resists ultra-violet rays. Two expanding type seals, plus O-ring, eliminates high and low pressure leaks. Barbed cylinder fitting and an inserted tubular rod prevents hose blow-off and breakage.
  A stainless steel spring retracts the cylinder when the boat is not in motion.

Trim Tabs

• 12 gauge 304 stainless steel trim tabs are available in standard and custom lengths. They are guaranteed against electrolysis, remaining strong and secure. Insta-Trim's hinges prevent most spray and can be used for transom or bottom mounting.

Hose

• Designed and manufactured exclusively for Insta-Trim with nylon-reinforced webbing and protective PVC coating. Rated at 2000 lb. burst pressure, 15' of hose is supplied for your system. Entering the transom 6" above the water line, the hoses are held securely with hose trim.
  Stainless steel clamps hold the hose to barb fitting at the solenoid.

Rocker Type Controls

• Mounted on the dash they are easy to operate.

One pint of Insta-Trim biodegradable transmission oil, funnel and mounting hardware is supplied.

NavPod Protects Your Electronics In Harsh Conditions

Top Place Adaptor

NavPod AngleGuards are designed to upgrade sailboat steering systems to accommodate mounting of electronics onto NavPods.

Edson is a popular manufacturer of steering systems who has always used a 9.5" wide pedestal guard. Most of their pedestal guards are 1" in diameter. Lewmar (formally Whitlock) also has manufactured steering systems that use the 9.5" wide format. NavPod supplies the SG10 and AG10 as a easy retrofit onto either of these systems.

Because of the clean and secure method of concealing wires and the need to accommodate large connectors and heavy radar cables within the Stainless Steel tubes, NavPod recommends the larger 1.25" diameter AngleGuards. Often the existing Top Plate needs to be bored out or replaced with the TP125 to accommodate the larger diameter.
