The front most pocket of the Crossbody is lined with loop material so that hook-backed holsters can be used. This compartment is 11 inches wide and 6 inches tall with an expandable depth of 1.5" to accommodate most compact and subcompact pistols in a slim holster or trigger guard covering device. The dual zippers have an overlapping rain guard to prevent your piece from getting soaked should you find yourself in a rain squall.
